On July 26, 2018 the annual Loudoun Chapter Judge Julia T. Cannon Memorial Color of Justice Program took place at the Old Courthouse in Leesburg, VA. In memory of the late Julia T. Cannon, Judge of the Loudoun County General District Court, the goal of the VWAA Loudoun Color of Justice event is to demonstrate to the students the important and positive role the law plays in their daily lives, from understanding how and why laws are made to learning how the teens can make an impact in the law with their own career and academic choices. VWAA Loudoun's hope is to lead the high school students to recognize the opportunities for future positive and fulfilling engagement within the legal community.
